Each activity organization is the same throughout the Curriculum Component of the System. Over 130 activities per level, organized into each curriculum strand of Self, Other Awareness, Self-Control, Decision-Making/Problem-Solving, Group Cooperation, Academic, and Career are based on the standards, benchmarks, indicators, and performance desired for students. The standards, benchmarks, indicators, and performance are listed and explained in The Grow With Guidance® System Manual and in the System Levels.

Each activity procedure is to include the following format process in order for activities to accomplish the desired results for students. It is important to involve students in each step.

It is most effective to schedule 45 minutes per activity so that students have the opportunity to work in groups, practice the skill and determine places to apply the skill.
