Doris Rhea Coy, Ph.D., LPCS, NCC, NCCC. is a counseling specialist with rich experience in all areas of school and community counseling. She has served as a teacher, school counselor, college professor, consultant, and a state and national officer. She was a junior high school teacher, a school counselor in the Whitehall City School System in Ohio, was an Associate Professor at the University of North Texas as well as Northern Kentucky University. At both universities she served as the school counseling program coordinator. Doris has served in professional associations in both Ohio and Texas and was President of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and the American Counselor Association (ACA). She has presented and been the keynote speaker on the local, state, regional, national, and international levels more than 100 times and has published articles, chapters, and books. Her latest book is, “Bullying – A Resource and Activity Book for School Counselors, Teachers, and Parents.”
